This is the result of an afternoon spent at the museum, sitting in the middle of the corridor and observing a gently carved piece of stone.
This was entirely a new experience for me, and I initially found it quite challenging to face the several comments and stares I received from the passers by.
I chose this particular statue to sketch as the broken, distorted and incomplete parts of the face intrigued me as they added to the mystery of the creation of the piece.
